, the talking points, if you will, did not originate from her or the u.n. is it appropriate she's the face of all of this in your opinion? >> thank you, tamron, for having me on. it's unfortunate that dr. rice has become the face of this, because, in fact, she is a highly regarded accomplished civil servant leading our mission in the united nations. she was put in the spotlight in order to communicate what the intelligence community and administration believed to be the best way to communicate the attack on benghazi. rightly now congress is looking at the question of what went wrong, but the question about whether or not she is personally responsible for it is a bit far-fetched, and it's really going into a point where members of congress are making themselves look silly. they're day in and day outhave different statements. the house sent a letter to house republicans on posing her potential nomination to secretary of state. less than half signed onto it. there's not much appetite for this fight. we saw it in the campaign, and we're not sure where this is heading. it does seem like a losin
